Moot Court Internal Competition - Important Dates
Prospective Moot Court Board Members:
The internal competition will commence in the coming month. The competition involves writing a brief and oral argument. Please register for the TWEN page titled "Moot Court Internal Competition 2011." The competition rules are located under the Course Material tab. This will also be the page to which you will upload your final brief. Thank you for your interest, and please direct any questions to Drexellawmootcourt@drexel.edu.
Here are some important dates:
- Problem release- July 1
- Last day to download problem- July 29

Hispanic National Bar Association Annual Career Fair On Friday, September 2, 2011, the HNBA will host its annual Career Fair, the largest Latino Career fair for legal professionals in the country. The HNBA Career Fair provides law students, young and seasoned attorneys and Convention attendees with a tremendous opportunity to meet and network with other leading Latino attorneys from across the country. The Career Fair also plays host to a symposium designed to help law students enhance their marketing skills for the tough legal Career market.

Summer Exams
Summer term anonymous IDs will be available in the Virtual Community beginning at 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 6. Remember that you must “sign” the Exam Policies and Procedures Verification to retrieve your ID each term. The Summer term version of Exam4 should also be available for download on Wednesday. We will notify you when it becomes available.
The deadline for submitting a practice exam (to be eligible for technical support for Summer exams) is 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 26.
Students who need to defer an exam must submit an Exam Conflict/Deferral form, along with appropriate documentation, by Wednesday, July 13. Students seeking accommodations for exams must submit the appropriate documentation to Prof. Coleman no later than the last day of classes. Graduation Audit Students expected to graduate in the next year will be receiving audit reports from OSA via their Drexel email in the next couple of weeks. We encourage you to make an appointment with Prof. Coleman to review your graduation progress after receipt of this report.

James W. Stoudt Memorial Law School Scholarship - Deadline: December 3, 2011 The Pennsylvania Bar Foundation is currently accepting applications for the James W. Stoudt Memorial Law School Scholarship. This award provides four, $3,000 scholarships, two of which are specifically designated to support minority law students, to second year students attending any one of the eight accredited law schools presently serving Pennsylvania. Applicants must be able to document residency with either a current voter registration card or current Pennsylvania driver’s license. Paralyzed Veterans of America Law and Public Policy Writing Competition - Deadline: August 1, 2011 Information about this writing competition is available at http://earlemacklaw.drexel.edu/docket/enewsletter/030711/PVA-2011-Writing-Competition.pdf. Missouri University/CIArb Writing Competition - Deadline: August 15, 2011 This writing competition is sponsored by the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb) North American Branch and offers a $300 prize to the competition winner. The winner may also have his or her winning submission published in the Journal of Dispute Resolution along with other symposium papers. The Journal is recognized as the leading legal publication in the area of alternative dispute resolution and contains articles written by nationally and internationally prominent authors and students on a wide variety of topics.
