Joint Degree Program Information Session - March 25, 2011

The Earle Mack School of Law has been working with the LeBow School of Business, the School of Public Health, and the College of Arts and Sciences to develop three distinct joint degree programs: the JD/MBA, the JD/MPH, and the JD/MSPP (Masters in Public Policy). Students in these joint programs are able to graduate with fewer credits than would be required, and sooner compared to a student completing the two programs separately.

And the good news is that there is still time to register for these joint programs. On Friday, March 25th there will be an information session about the joint degrees, including a question and answer portion. Please join Dean Filler and representatives from LeBow, the School of Public Health, and the College of Arts and sciences in Room 140 from 11:30 a.m. -12:30 p.m. to learn more about the joint degrees.

Public Interest Experience Grants

Public Interest Experience Grants provide stipends to Earle Mack School of Law students who are taking unpaid, summer public interest positions. These students are committed to the public interest and intend to pursue a public interest career after law school. The purpose of the grant is to offset the cost of living for students who incur significant financial burden by taking an unpaid position for the summer. It is our hope that students will gain invaluable experience, skills, contacts, and insight to further enable them to find employment after law school in the competitive practice of public interest law. Applications are due March 28, 2011 by 12:00 p.m. and grants recipients will be announced April 15, 2011.

Both 1L and 2L students are eligible to apply . For more information and to apply, please download the Grant Application Packet in PDF Format: http://www.earlemacklaw.drexel.edu/career/students/pubinterestlaw/pubinterest_summer_grants/
