Law School Delegation Investigates Human Rights Violations in Haiti

Members of the law school’s Drexel Haiti Justice Project
are visiting Port-au-Prince, Haiti, to investigate human rights violations in and around the transitional housing settlement located in Cite Soleil.
The delegation, which includes seven students and Associate Dean for Experiential Learning Susan L. Brooks
, will be interviewing residents and investigating the work of international organizations, including a legal advocacy group. The group’s findings will culminate in the creation of a human rights report.
This trip, the first for the law school, was organized by students in collaboration with the LAMP for Haiti Foundation
