HeinOnline iPad/iPhone app now available

The official HeinOnline iOS app lets you use your iPad or iPhone to view image-based PDFs, access content by citation, browse by volume, navigate a volume with the electronic table of contents, and use full advanced searching techniques available on HeinOnline. You can download it from the Apple App Store.  After downloading, make sure you’re connected to Drexel’s DragonFly wireless network and from the Menu choose “IP Authentication”, which will allow you unrestricted use of the app for 30 days before needing to re-authenticate.

Both chat and SMS reference are available during our open reference desk hours.

Library Survey

The Legal Research Center is participating in a customer satisfaction survey sponsored by the Drexel University Libraries.  By soliciting your feedback we can continue to improve our services, resources, and facility to meet your research needs.  The survey will only take you a few minutes to complete and can be accessed at http://drexel.countingopinions.com/.    We appreciate your participation and welcome your suggestions.

HeinOnline Intellectual Property Law Collection Now Available

The LRC has subscribed to a HeinOnline's new Intellectual Property Law Collection. This collection focuses on copyrights, patents, and trademarks in the United States. Materials include legislative histories, books, journals, and primary source materials for intellectual property research.

LRC Access Policy

Beginning Monday, August 15, during peak hours of use by law students (Monday - Friday, between opening and 6:00 p.m.), the Legal Research Center will be unavailable to non-law students.  The Legal Research Center does welcome those students whose academic work requires the use of the LRC’s collection and resources.  Please check in with the LRC reference desk for assistance with your research.

Please also remember that at all times (including evenings and weekends), there are still areas restricted to law student use only.  The “annex” area as you enter the LRC from the Law School and the study rooms are only available to law students.

If you have any comments or questions about the policy, please feel free to contact Mark Bernstein, Director of the Legal Research Center, at mark.p.bernstein@drexel.edu.
