Submissions

The Drexel Law Review reviews submissions year round. Articles and essays may be submitted through ExpressO, http://www.law.bepress.com/expresso, or directly to lawrev@drexel.edu. Preference is given to submissions no longer than 25,000 words, inclusive of footnotes (approximately fifty law review pages). Citations must be provided in footnotes conforming to the Blue Book: A Uniform System of Citation (19th ed. 2010). http://www.legalbluebook.com/


Write-On Guidlines

Specific dates and deadlines for the write-on competition are released in the spring of each academic year. The write-on competition is designed to be feasible to complete while working or studying abroad as requests and submissions are handled electronically. Law school grades are not considered for Law Review membership, however you will be required to:

  • Write a note based on a provided problem and a closed universe of sources.
  • Complete a Bluebook citation test.

Law Review staff membership is contigent on selection based on the write-on competition submissions. As a staff member students will:

  • Attend training
  • Perform citation checks on articles to be published in the Law Review
  • Write an original note on a topic of the student's choosing for possible publication in the Law Review
