Fellowships for Graduates
Judicial Fellowship Program
The Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas, in conjunction with the Earle Mack School of Law at Drexel University, Temple University Beasley School of Law and the University of Pennsylvania Law School, offers a Judicial Fellowship Program aimed at providing graduates with substantive experience in the law while supporting the court in carrying out key functions.
The unpaid fellows work a minimum of 20 hours per week, handling the same duties as paid clerks, while gaining the benefit of training by judges in the Philadelphia courts. Fellows are free to leave the program with two weeks' notice when they find paid employment.

Public Service Fellowship Program
We recognize the lawyer’s obligation to serve the public good and encourage and support students to contribute to and make a difference in their communities through public service work. We instill in our students a sense of duty to work in the public interest throughout their legal careers with the hope that many will seek full-time public sector employment.
In recognition of and consistent with this commitment, we have established the Public Service Fellowship Program. The purpose of this program is to assist and support our graduates with a strong commitment to public service. The Public Service Fellowship Program provides eligible recent graduates with part-time, paid, six-month legal positions at a qualifying public interest organization. We hope this program has a positive impact on both our graduates and the legal communities in which they are placed.
