Business and Entrepreneurship Law Concentration Requirements
For students who wish to focus their studies in the area of Business and Entrepreneurship Law, the law school offers a sequenced curriculum leading to completion of the concentration.
To complete the requirements of the concentration a student must:
Complete the following Required Courses (generally during the second year):
Fall of student's second year:

Business Organizations
-
Federal Income Tax
Spring of student's second year:
- Transactional Lawyering
- Enterprise Tax
Complete a Practical Learning Experience (during the second or third year):
- Completion of the Entrepreneurial Law Clinic, or
- Completion of a co-op placement approved by the Concentration Director, or
- Completion of another comparable unpaid practical learning experience approved by the Concentration Director in writing, or
- For JD/MBA students, completion of the MBA requirements
The concentration requires an overall 2.5 minimum GPA. To receive "Honors" in the concentration, the student must have an overall GPA of 3.2 or better in the courses counted toward completion of the concentration.
