Message from the Dean: How we're raising the bar
How does one educate outstanding, reflective practitioners? The legal academy has been grappling with that question for decades.
We know that a great law school combines theory and practice. And we also know that a law school can truly excel when it’s embedded in a comprehensive national research university that’s on the move.
We have an exceptional and accomplished faculty, a challenging curriculum and a variety of experiential learning opportunities in a vast range of practical settings.
Fortunately, we are located in Philadelphia, amid a legal community unmatched in richness and quality. Earle Mack students engage with practicing lawyers through cooperative education and pro bono programs. Our curricular concentrations in Business and Entrepreneurship Law, Criminal Law,
Health Law and Intellectual Property Law mirror the strengths of the bar and our region's economy.
In a few short years, we’ve assembled an outstanding faculty, all deeply engaged scholars and impressively accomplished practitioners. Alongside Earle Mack students and staff, our professors have created a real sense of community.
Our peers in the legal academy have acknowledged the excellence of scholarship produced by our faculty, as reflected in the fact that the Association of American Law Schools approved our membership just five months after we received full accreditation from the American Bar Association.
Every day, our commitment to raising the bar grows stronger. If you want to know more about the Earle Mack approach, I invite you to contact me directly at roger.j.dennis@drexel.edu.
